First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for the lovely and heart felt birthday cards, texts, emails, and social media comments!

And for those who were super confused…I had a birthday on Saturday. Yes, the big 2-6 came and had a long conversation with me over shots of patron and strawberry margaritas. The older I get, the less excited I am about my birthday. However, this year was kind of “special” because I had a break through. An ‘ah ha’ moment regarding relationships, school, work, goals, hopes, dreams, etc.

My Super Sweet 25th Birthday!

I celebrated my 25th birthday on August 3rd! Some of my very best friends flew to Atlanta (thats where I’m currently squatting) to help me celebrate, while some (that are just as important) sent me well wishes via phone calls, texts, mail, and Skype!

I am super blessed to see another year and I look forward to all the new opportunities I am preparing for. 25 doesn’t feel much different from 24, except my car insurance decreased dramatically and I can rent cars… but then again my life as a 25 year old has just started.

It’s been a while…

I suck. You’re absolutely right. I haven’t updated you guys on anything for about a month. My apologies.

So much stuff has happened since I last blogged, and as much as I want to share, I’m going to keep it short and sweet….

I’ve been busy.

I also had a birthday! I turned 21 again, and it was awesome. I got a new job! Going to be working the grave shift, but you have to start somewhere. I set out a planner to update irokfashion.com on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. I started an affair with chocolate chip cookies. Powerade taste like salt water; I’ve been drinking it to combat this heart attack I’ve been having. I met some good people and some super freaking crazy one’s: shout out to Billy, get your life together brotha!

Um, what else…my life lesson for this month is: People are going to be people and nothing else. Life is life for everyone! Enjoy every minute no matter what.
