Hello 2013.

I don’t usually do any resolutions because I lead the cliche’ life of “improve throughout the year”. This go around I’ve decided to make an actual list. Like to hear it? Here is goes…

Stop complaining about everything. You may or may not believe this but I literally complain about everything. I just got finished complaining about my phone charger cord being too short. I complained that it was too cold in my apartment, although I refused to turn my heat up. No one likes a complainer. So I’ll work on that.

Stop critiquing my physical appearance. I’m skinny. I have an interesting oily skin quality. My hair isn’t short or long. I have a large nose. I have small legs. I should’ve worn my retainer. Ok. There I got it all out. I’m going to chill on putting myself down. I’m pretty decent looking.

Have more confidence in my ability to succeed. I graduated from college. I’ve worked several places. I’ve made a bunch of money. I’ve met a lot of people. I am currently working. I’m currently getting another degree. I’m pretty smart. I get shit done. I’ll be just fine, if not better.

Stop cursing so fucking much because its not fucking lady like. There. Got it all the fuck out. Self explanatory.

Learn how to function in a relationship. These things usually involve more than one person, therefore it would behoove me to learn how to be more selfless and considerate. Can’t still act single in a committed relationship.

Keep in touch with the people I care about. I’m not saying I’m going to start calling people every single day…but at least once a week I will start making time to inquire about the whereabouts of my loved ones.

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Things that I am going to work on. Granted there are a billion things I could list…but then I wouldn’t have anything for 2014! Just kidding slightly. What are your New Years Resolutions?
