Happy 2011!
Each year I make these ridiculous resolutions and stick to them for all of about 5 days. Like, not cursing or mentally cursing people out. This year I am going to try something new; my only resolution is to continuously work on myself for the rest of the year. In every area of my life. In every way possible.
For starters, I’m fasting fast-food restaurants for the month of January. See, I’m not saying I’m going to give it up completely, because I know I’m not. What I hope to achieve is a habit of preparing my own food. This is beneficial in many ways: I’ll have a healthier diet, I will probably put on a few pounds, I will save tons of money, and I will gain essential domestic skills. I win!
I’m going to get better organized. I have tons of notebooks filled with randomness. I intend to collect all my randomness and make them come to life. Meaning, you guys may see a big change with my blog as I attempt to transition it into a full out website! Yay! You will also finally get a sneak peek of a novel I have been working on (for years). A few of my PR clients will be excited about this new found organization as well!
I’m going to be in the gym working on my fitness! I got a membership now, so I’m all set and ready to go. I’m going to start dressing my age…so that means you will see less and less chuck taylors with tee shirts and ripped jeans. Dresses and heels baby. Dresses and heels (sikey naw…this is prob one change that’s going to happen at the end of the year)
Basically, I am going to work on me. How I view things. How I interpret things. How I treat people. How I allow people to treat me. Where I go. The things I do. The people I talk to. The amount of craziness I indulge in. I’m talking, total revamp of Taylor. For the better. I’m excited.
I hope to see positive changes as the year gets older. Thanks for listening.
