Ol Skool Skating Party

First…I HAD A BLAST!

Second…I have NOT roller skated since MIDDLE SCHOOL…and I’m currently 3months away from graduating college!

The Delta’s and Kappa’s of Michigan State University threw an amazing ol’ skool skating party a few weeks ago. I had reservations about going at first, but ultimately I’m glad I went. I definitely thought I was in ATL the movie or something! It was BANANAS!

I woke up the next morning with severe aches and pains…everywhere…abs, legs, back, wrists, ankles, etc.! BUT it was WELL worth it.

Here are a few pics! YES we were in 80’s costume 8-)

MOMMY I WANT THESE!!

OK…so flat out, hands down, all that, THIS COLLECTION IS DOPE.

I saw this collection in a random magazine I picked up while catching a flight. Immediately I feel in love with the colors. LOL YES, the way to my heart is through vibrant COLORFUL stuff.

Anyway, Stephen Sprouse is credited with the marriage of graffiti and fashion with his collection in 1983. He actually died in 2004, but his collection (that started in 2001) continued to grow and hit Vuitton boutiques worldwide around January. This collection is a collaboration between Sprouse and Marc Jacobs (now how dope is he?).

Jacobs took two iconic Sprouse motifs — the graffiti and the rose — and interpreted them in Day-Glo shades of pink, green and orange over the Monogram print. The motifs are featured on Vuitton’s Keepall, Speedy and Neverfull bag styles, as well as basketball sneaker boots, pumps, sunglasses, headbands and wristbands, and small leather goods like wallets and coin purses.

Each piece can hit from $800 – $2000 (college budget = wishful thinking …yikes)

Enjoy.

Pharrell Fashion. The real stuff.

OK . Its been a while, but Im back.

I’ve ran into a lot of randomness over the past couple weeks that I want to share. Before I get to that stuff, I want to point out March’s issue of Nylon Magazine. I probably only want to share this because Nylon happens to be one of the DOPEST, most colorful, most everything, fashion magazine out…but Pharrell is on the cover :)

Aside from the fact that he is totally dreamy, gorgeous, etc., he is pretty stylish. Enjoy.

P.S. I added the vido footage from his cover soot (curtosey of my Ill-advised non-conformist friends)
