New Video: Give Me All Your Luvin’ – Madonna (Feat. @NickiMinaj and M.I.A)

Not completely in love with the song…but the video is freaking awesome. Super colorful and fun. Kinda cougar-ish, considering Madonna is considerably older than any footballer in that school themed video.

M.I.A’s varsity jacket was pretty much the shit and I really enjoyed the channeling of Marilyn Monroe at the end. Thoughts?

90s Music – Paula Cole “Where Have All The Cowboys Gone”

Call me crazy…but I think this song foreshadowed my parents divorce! My mom used to play this all the time while we were riding home from school, except she would sub in “where have all the black men gone” during the chorus. At that moment I just thought my mom was a stellar lyricist…but now that I’m older, I think she was subconsciously complaining about my dad.

But I could be totally wrong. In any event, this is one of the songs that I happen to be conditioned to love from childhood.

New Video: “The Truth” – @BeiMaejor

Whoa dere.

Look At Me Now [Cover] – Karmin

Probably the MOST creative cover of “Look At Me Now” – Chris Brown feat. Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne!

Not at all what you expect, check out Karmin! The thing is, even in the car alone with my most serious “I can rap” face – I couldn’t get those words correct!

“Everything You Want” – Vertical Horizon

When you don’t have the words… Vertical Horizon does!

“He says all the right things, at exactly the right time… but he means nothing to you, and you don’t know why…”

Let me tell you about music. There is a song that can relate to every issue, non-issue and circumstance imaginable. Which serves as a deeper connection between people of all cultures and backgrounds; we are all going through the same shit at some point.

Call 911.

This video is trippy as hell. It basically depicts a child predator going after what appears to be a little girl…then getting the surprise of his life. I’m pretty sure this was just a video to accompany an awesome song….but how fitting right?

I lowkey wish all children could turn into little monsters when creeps tried to hurt them.

#DontShowUpWhenIBlowUp

Off Rip is at it again… this time giving it to you guys straight. Don’t show up when he blows up.

Download the song here.

Don’t say you knew things would work out all along, when you straight dissed me behind my back. Not G at all. Keep it a C-Note.

(How gangster do I sound??)

When Songs Get Stuck In Your Head…

This song has been stuck in my head for approximately 2347654283940 days. I may be exaggerating.

John Legend’s vocals are CRAZY. I think if he did this song alone, I would love it all the more.

Brooklyn Legends. By Brian Wood

Check out graphic designer Brian Wood’s “Brooklyn Legends” sweatshirt; featuring ODB, Lil’ Kim, B.I.G., Mike Tyson, Chris Rock, Michael Jordan and many more. Dope concept. Definitely a must have.
